Our Story
Govt High School 46-C Chandigarh is a co-educational school run under Chandigarh Administration(UT). It was established in the year 1988, It is a hindi medium school. The Incharge of the school Mr. Kuldeep Singh strives hard to maintain the motto of the school, “Learn to rise and strive to win”, spread over 12,500 sq/m. It is spacious enough to equip itself with classrooms, library, laboratories, mid day meal room, staff room etc.
Labs/Rooms
The students have easy access to science room, social room and math room. These rooms are well equipped with kits and models which urge the students to explore and discover their knowledge in pace with the latest technology.
Computer Labs/Rooms
The computer lab is fully equipped with latest computer versions where students are taught the latest skills of computer language – windows, Ms-word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.Knowledge about cyber crimes, AIDS etc are given to students of higher classes.
Library/Book Bank
The school comprise of a library wherein reading section caters to all age groups for reference purposes. Apart from this the major role of book bank comes into foreplay where old books donated by students are put to use for needy students.
ANNUAL FEST
Annual fest cum Diwali mela organised in the month of Oct-Nov where students display their talent in form of handicrafts, best out of waste, embroidery skills, rangoli making, diya and candles decoration etc.Sports meet is held every year where student activity participate in different events like 100m, 200m races, long jumps, 3 legged race, mattca race, slow cycling etc.The best part of the event is participation by tiny tots of the classes Pre-nursery & nursery.Prize distribution to the best performer is an added icing to the cake.
ACHIEVEMENTS(SPORTS)
Sports has always been a booster dose for every age group.Simran a student of class 10th who has thought many laurels for the school.Some of her achievements are as:

3.Indian speed star (2016-17) – 3 Gold Medals
4.National Athlete Competition from 18th to 20th Jan’2018 – Bronze Medal
5.North Zone Games held at Meerut(2016-17) – 2 Gold Medals
6.Junior State Games – 2 Gold Medals(2016-17)
7.Junior State Games – 2 Gold Medals(2015-16)
8.Inter School Chandigarh – 3 Gold Medals(2015-16)
9.North Zone Games(Hamirpur) – Silver Medal(2015-16)
